The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.

Funny coincidence this summer: when we saw Tom Waits in Chicago, and then Tom Jones in Las Vegas, each of them covered a Howlin Wolf song. Tom Waits worked part of "Spoonful" into another song, and Tom Jones sang "Three Hundred Pounds of Heavenly Joy"
