I'm pictured here collapsing into the arms of my devoted wife after realizing that January is more than half over and I haven't accomplished a damn thing, in spite of having at least appeared to be quite busy.

The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.

I kind of like the noirish quality of the black and white.
And I don't think the point is being busy-- its appearing to be busy. Carry on as you were.
I appear to be busy at work every day. Keeps people off my back. I suppose that might be harder to do as a cop when there are bad guys to catch.
