Since I'm sitting at my desk on my first taxpayer-funded coffee break of the day, the closest book I had was from a collection of vintage reference books I keep in the cabinet above my desk: Medicolegal Investigation of Death by Spitz and Fisher (2nd printing, 1977.)

How you were able to tear yourself away from that and put the book down is beyond me.
I'm just happy that the closest book you had available on your taxpayer funded break was not the Playboy Compendium.

Coolcat, riveting. Simply riveting. I suppose if I'd reached a little further I could've grabbed a book on accident investigation and had a sentence that read like an algebraic formula.

Barbara, we've gotten away from the whole notion of the detective bureau porn stash. That's old-school policing, and sadly has gone the way of the whiskey bottle in the desk drawer.
Johnny, it's still a fascinating read, really.
This is the most interesting one I've read Bubs. Makes me want to know more. Happy Vacation!
