The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.
I don't think I've ever been aware of what a powerful presence Pavarotti's eyebrows have.
Love Lou a lot...I remember buying his New York album when I was dipping my toe into music outside of what was generally popular in the rock scene around 9th grade or so.
As much as I approve of anything Lou Reed is involved with, I think this just shows what a whore Pavarotti is. I'm waiting for his collabortion with Brittany Spears and Eminem.
I saw Lou on the New York tour-- great, great show.

Yo, Pavarotti,
SING... ON... THE... BEAT...
Why do I think Lou Reed has some personal version of coolness Bingo at home, that he hurried on home to in order to scratch off another square?

Johnny, I've never gotten to see Lou Reed. Now I'm almost afraid it would be a disappointment if he comes around again.
Mob, that New York album is one of my favorite of his post-VU recordings. It captures a certain time and mood perfectly.
And Luciano's eyebrows are distracting as hell--they threaten to leap off his forehead at any moment.
Splotchy, do you think marrying Laurie Anderson was a result of one of those bingo squares?
