Wings - Jet Live 1976

Here's a sample of live Wings, from their "Wings over America" tour. I was 12 in 1976.

Reminds me of sitting in my bedroom listening to WMET. In fact, I think that's all I did for a few years.

When I host a hootenanny, I insist that someone know how to play Band on the Run. Great Song.

Who has the worst mullet in this vid? Paul or Linda?

I feel old. I was 17 in 1976.

*sigh*

But my boobies were being played like a band on the run while you were playing dodgeball in the gym.

I loved "Band On The Run."

I thought "Uncle Albert" was actually a Beatles tune and I only recently found out to the contrary. The parents used to leave the radio on and the stations would always play that alongside something from "Let It Be" or "Sgt.Pepper's."

Musically, there wasn't that much of a drop-off, though lyrically, some of their material wasn't as strong. I thought John as a solo artist was the exact opposite, stronger lyrics with none of the great hooks of Paul.

Still, "Live And Let Die" and "Maybe I'm Amazed" are classics that really haven't gotten the respect that they have deserved.

Vikki, the she-mullet is, by definition, worse than the mullet on a guy. Just as the child-mullet is worse than the she-mullet, and a she-mullet on a girlchild is worst of all.

Lulu once showed me her LP "At the Speed of Sound" as her biggest musical embarrassment. I wonder if she still feels that way.
