Riker is cool, he was actually genetically enhanced...
The Riker character was pretty cool. The actor who played the part was pretty bad, IMHO.
I ditto Splotchy's comment (w/o beard was the first season).
Ryker was Star Trek: The Next Generation. He got the babes like Kirk, broke the rules like Kirk ("Prime directive? F*ck the Prime Directive..."), but was as disciplined as Spock, could be as emotional as Bones (Dr. McCoy) and as creative and hard-partying as Scottie. In otherwords, you did quite well there, Bubs.

It's a good thing. Millions of women in their mid to late 20's have a huge crush on Riker.
