Close, but not quite

It was quite a contest, and our gal Nora was a crowd favorite, but she didn't quite have enough to win.

Nora had a swell time, and it looks like she's got some cool opportunities on the way as a result. She's made a bunch of new friends and enjoyed her time in the limelight.

The winner was a truly adorable and talented girl named Danni Doll, who did a pretty amazing dance number.

Thanks for all your support!

Well done, Nora. You're the Spooksmodel of our hearts.

Ah well, she made it to the finals and beat out many softcore porn queens. I hope to see Nora introducing a truly bad film one of these days on FEARnet. (If my cable company ever brings that channel back...bastards.)

Nicely done and fun. I'm glad she made friends and new connections. Good for you for supporting her efforts.

I was hoping to get to see you guys in LA :( But I know Nora rockd the house - she is a winner!

BTW - are you guys leaving already? If you're still in town, email me - tonight my husband is playing a club in Hollywood called the Pig & Whistle and it would be a fun place to hang out for a minute before you guys go back (if you haven't already left...)

Oh, and good on her for networking so well while she's there!

She did so awesome, and it sounds like she has some contacts for the future. You couldn't ask for more, well done Nora!!

Aw, Shoot.

Like we talked about Saturday, the opportunity to make contacts in the industry was the most important thing. And what a fun ride she must have had on the way!

Bad: I want a freakin' recount!

Good: Does horror contact paper use the coagulating blood of its victims to stick to the covers of books?

Rats.

I was going to leverage Nora's new-found fame and fortune to get an agent and finally bring to the airwaves the Tengrain Variety Show.Oh, well, there is always next year.

Regards,

Tengrain

Aw shucks. For such a long time it looked like she was in first place. We should be ashamed to call ourselves Chicagoans (formerly in my case....)

The horror! The horror!

(If it's any conciliation, she still scares the hell out of me.)
