The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.

A good thing
While 15 clown kills is always a good thing, I can't help but think if that were pirates, or better yet, US Navy Seals, the clown body count would have been much higher.

The clowns are actually pretty easy to take out. They keep honking those bulb horns giving away their position.
Don't count out those clowns until the clock runs out. They'll find a way to come back, those crafty bastards.
What does it mean that every time I see a clown I think of you Bubs? I think it means you win over the clowns.
