The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.

Welcome to summer
Well, it's here now--summer. Sure, it's cold and rainy right at this moment, but this was Memorial Day weekend that we just celebrated, and that means summer, right? Right?
It's Italian, you know. You'd think more people would share some of that vigorous enjoyment and enthusiasm for the simple things in life but, as it turns out "gusto" can sometimes be a bit of an acquired taste, and regardless of the spiritedness in which it manifests, such enthusiasm is not always communicable---not everyone will always partake in the exhilaration in which such liveliness sometimes comes about: case in point.

Well I am not going to get that image out of my head for quite some time.
Someone really needs to take away the Internet from you.
I have stumbled onto more clown stuff during my electronic travels, I need to send it along to you!
They still make Schlitz I think.

I have taken my son to many circuses and never seen beer there.
Um, no, I don't look for beer everywhere. No, really.
Hey clown, who're you looking at??
Schlitz was a favorite among my friends in Northern MN back in our underage drinking days.
We described it as such:
"Shlitz. The sound it makes going in, the sound it makes coming out."
Two awful tastes that taste worse together (except, I actually had a friend who was a clown, and he was super nice).
