The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.

R.I.P. John Joseph Houghtaling
For those of us who have memories of cross country road trips with our families in the 1960's and 1970's, this man was a giant.

He brought joy to so many.
Why, if he had a quarter for every time someone used one of his beds... oh wait, he did!
Now, there's someone who went and made the world a better place, one skeezy bed at a time.
