The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.
Mock it all you want I loved hanging out at the Bristol Ren Faire every weekend. I even dragged Grumpy there last summer when we where up there. i swear if I lived closer I'd still be there every weekend
Katy, I love it too! I especially like going with my nieces and nephew. But you have to admit, it is a target-rich environment.
WM, hahahahaha...yes. And I bet that as a family their stockpile of multi-sided dice would make my stockpile of shotgun ammo and canned hash look meager in comparison.
Melinda, I'm still working on it too.
BeckEye, sorry. They all signed the waiver.
ME, heh. Don't eat the baby.
Cormac, see, you see "odds" and I see strong family values.
If I didn't think I'd get in a lot of trouble, I'd track down a wedding photo from one of my cousins' medieval wedding. The wedding cake was a lovely shade of grey just like her dress. I also enjoyed the misspellings on the invitation. I come from a classy bunch I tell ya.

I was hoping it meant that I got to rub sun block or suntan oil on hot babes. Thanks for getting my hopes up and then dashing them you cruel man.
Bloody hell.
I love Faire.
I'll go only as long as I'm guaranteed a bloody joust.
Instead of "odds and bodkins," we just have odds here.
uh oh, somebody gonna mistake that baby for a giant turkey leg and eat him all up
You've been going through my family photos, I see.
Who knew you could find something creepier than clowns?
They look like they would talk all Ren-festy at home too.
"Woudst thou wash thine pots in yonder scullery?"
"Hast thee used ye olde sword from the future to slice many blades of grass?"
"Wouldst thy faire lady care to make of the love?"
Gross.
