The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.

X was amazing at the Double Door
X at the Double Door was amazing. They sounded perfect. My bride said she could close her eyes and it was like being transported back to 1983. And you couldn't ask for a more enthusiastic and energetic crowd. Like this kid:
It struck me that they did one great song after another and still missed many. I am not a huge fan of their latter albums, but the best of their work is eternal and the original lineup stands as one of the great live bands of all time.

Yikes! I think I'm glad now that I went Friday and missed that sight!
I had the same thought as Dena-- X has got such a great body of work. How do you pick which 15-18 great songs to do in a particular show?
As MsBubs pointed out yesterday, there is something really beautiful with the Exene/John Doe harmonizing.
I like his tits, all of them.
lolz, I don't even have enough fingers to count them.
That's an understatement, lad!
I would have loved to have seen X! Glad to hear they are still incredible.
If that dude was your son, you would have to call him Blubs.
LMAO @ Me; that cracked me up.
What in the holy hell is the kid attacking in the pic?
Besides good nutrition, I mean.
He looks like he could use a "Man-ssiere!"
I thought the Troma extras are supposed to leave the costumes on set.
No. No way did I just see that.
Ewwwww
Why do you always do this to us?
Did they play "Fourth of July?" I like that song.
::blink, blink::
