Only Eight?

I won some major recognition the other day, from literary figure Cormac Brown. Cormac is one of the people out there in the blog world who I've emailed back and forth with about a few things and hope I can meet one of these days. He shares my love of all things noir, but then cranks it up a notch by being a pretty kick ass crime writer himself. He's good at the twist ending.

Turns out I'm considered to have a "well-written and amusing" blog. I'm a little suspicious of my nomination, since I am, in fact, totally interested in self-aggrandizement. Here's the deal with this meme-a-rino:
