I really may have to start doing a little random list once a week, I just need to swap out a lot of the stuff in the iTunes first, everything in there is stuff I've been listening to for over a year.
Love the Horrorpops.
Great list-- love that VU song. White Girl is my favorite X song.
Did you swipe my MacBook? Next time the Horrorpops come to town I'm calling a fieldtrip.
I miss the Flying Lizards! "Money" still cracks me up every time.
Great list. I give your F.R.T.
an "A.", and not just to work in this lame F.A.R.T. joke.
Coolcat, thanks. Honest to God, I just realized I was a vowel short of a fart earlier this afternoon when I checked my comments.
erik, I had the hugest crush on the Flying Lizards' lead singer for years, based solely on her voice. I still don't think I know what she ever looked like.
Ten, mob, the Horrorpops are from my eldest. I should like them more than I do, because I like psychobilly and rockabilly. But I think I like the concept and look of the Horrorpops more than I've liked listening to them. Am I right in thinking they're a band that's better live than recorded?
Johnny, it's good isn't it?
I recall my buddy Skincarver saying that they were pretty good when he saw them live, and that the lead singer was a lot heavier than the album pics had led him to believe, which is neither here nor there, just an amusing factoid he threw in.
