Screw it.
Ok, I finally got some time to catch up on reading my favorite blogs, and doing some commenting, and along the way I decided to make a couple of changes to the way things look around here. I saw a little button that said something like "update template" and I clicked it. End result? I just lost all the links that used to appear along the side of this page.
I'll probably post again sometime next week. I'll probably comment on some of your blogs after that. It's back to work tomorrow.
In the meantime, I'll leave you with a nice image.
This is a cherry mint julep. We made it up this evening after we got done in the garden. It's a standard mint julep, with the addition of a few sweet cherries muddled in with the mint and syrup. It's tasty.
If I'd known the frustration I'd be having with this damnable blog template, I'd have had 5 or 6 of them.
Hope everyone had a good weekend!

I lost all my links and customizations last summer. I now keep the codes and links in a Word document, for safekeeping.
Dumb Blogger.
And can I have a sip?
"I'm an html retard"
Haaahahahahaaaaaahahahaaa!!!
(Oh, uh...I'm not laughing AT you...I'm laughing WITH you. You are laughing, right?!)
This is exactly why I try not to get too cute with this stupid site. A buddy of mine actually wrote the code for the fairly customized template I have, so I'm really scared to try and futz around with it too much, for fear of exactly this type of thing happening.
The drink looks tasty though.
PS: My word verification is 'zzzzbvd', so I'm putting on my tighty whiteys and heading to bed now...
Can you get someone who had a similar linklist, Johnny Yen maybe, to cut and paste the code and email it to you? It might be worth a short, and then you would just need to add or delete a few, not redo the entire list.
total giggle at the helper monkey comment by the way.
Nothing like a round of screwed-by-blogger to make a tasty beverage required.
Damn, that looks tasty!
PS
While I'm working around the house today, I had the History Channel on in the background. They're doing that thing on the states. I discovered that the Kentucky Derby was formed by the grandson of Clark of the Lewis and Clark expedition.
I lost a bunch of my template accidentally a few months ago. If you can find one of your archived posts on the internet, save it as source and then you can just copy and paste the code into your template. Worked for me anyway, but I did feel like puking for a while.
Good luck!
Taking a drink classic and customizing it to make it more delicious..you are my kind or man, Mr. Bubs.
