One of the nicest bloggers ever, Fran, just celebrated her anniversary. I'm too disorganized and self-absorbed to have done anything special, or even been among the first 40 or 50 people to comment on her celebratory post. I ran around and finally put a little something together.

The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.

As for timing, Monday was our actual one, so you were right there!
And in a moment of pure synchronicity, my 11 year old stepdaughter is completely awash in all things Flintstone. She has filled our dvr by recording all kinds of episodes.
So things Flinstonian are very in around Casa de We Are!
