The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.

Ah yes, the real reason why I get so little sleep. The Travel Channel has seen fit to run "No Reservations" every weekday at 10 AM, which is like 12:30 AM on my schedule.

Hopefully someone brought him a really awful birthday cake and he got the chance to rip the cook a new one. I'm sure that would've been the best present ever.
