And now it gets better

My flight home on Thursday has now also been canceled. I can't get any flights out of Dallas Fort Worth tomorrow. They can book me on a flight "first thing" Friday morning, as if at this point I would trust American Airlines to be able to un-fuck themselves.

I am about to pull a Planes, Trains and Automobiles. I just rented a car and am going to drive home tomorrow. I figure I can make it in around 14 hours or so.

Which is way faster, and with more comfortable seating and meal service, and cheaper, than American Airlines can.

And I will never again fly to Dallas on business without first:

1. Making some kind of burnt offering or sacrifice to every deity I can think of,
2. Bringing all my good luck charms, amulets, religious icons, gris-gris, and
3. Charging a LOT more money than I did this time.
