The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.

I must say, I think it speaks volumes about you people that you start rendering your bacon a full two and one third days before Thanksgiving. I'm proud to know you.
Oh, no, we haven't actually started yet. We're just FANTASIZING about the rendering. The real frying doesn't start until tonight.
I love bacon but this picture makes me a little queasy that close up.
