Can I retire yet?

Here's your mantra, Grasshopper....

"Two years. Two years. Two years...."

Welcome back-- you were missed.

BTW, Edmund O'Brien is one of my favorite actors. I was just watching him in "Seven Days in May" on my day off (Monday) last week.

See, and oddly now that I am back in school my job suddenly seems like a cakewalk. Frustrating at times, but it doesn't hold a candle to the torture I have endured at the hands of the overeducated.

I'm thinking about retirement too. Or a career change. Or drinking heavily. Or all three.

Spring is here though, that should help!

Lulu, actually, spring being here does help quite a bit. I've tried to soak up as much sunshine and fresh air as possible before we're back in the low 30's. I got two good runs in this weekend, and that certainly helps too.

Ten, I've found myself saying a few times lately "thank God I'm not in grad school on top of all this." I'm glad your work seems better in comparison.

Johnny, yep...just a few more years. It's funny, my eldest and I have had this conversation a few times--about how difficult it is to focus on what you're doing right now when you feel like you're only a year or two away from something else you'd really rather be doing.

I know that exact feeling every day when I go into work and hope lots of kids cut school that day. I don't know if I can make it until June 22.
