Florida was OK, I guess...

The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.

Is that 'Otis'?
I was expecting someone more along the lines of The Devil's Rejects.
Looks like one of my family reunions.
Mob, for Otis picture a beefier Chris Rock with no impulse control, but cheerful.
CP, let me know next time you have one. I'll bring the three bean salad.
do i dare asking what the side job was?
I know that many people would be inclined to focus on the little fella, but check out the package on Mr. Rainbow Shorts!
Ooh la la!
Splotchy, yes, Mr Rainbow shorts is sporting an impressive male camel toe.
Katy, I was hired to go to Jacksonville, Florida to investigate a series of employee thefts at a warehouse. Originally the job was going to entail 2 nights of surveillance and 4 or 5 non-accusatory informational interviews with supervisors. Based on the information in the interviews, I ended up interviewing a total of 13 people and stayed an extra day.
I just got done with my reports last night.
Employee theft. Don't get me started. They are the reason I hope I never have to go back into retail.
so did you find the culprit?
Okay, that picture is not encouraging me to remove Florida from the "handful of states I have not visited yet" list anytime soon.
Hey! My wife is from Florida!
Johnny, in all fairness to the Sunshine State that picture may not have been taken in Florida. Maybe. But it captures a certain Floridian essence.
Katy, not to the extent that they could terminate or prosecute. I did identify two good suspects, and one who was fired three weeks ago for unrelated reasons. Mostly I made a bunch of recommendations on improving their security, because right now it's the security equivalent of a colander.
Ten, employee theft is a pain in the ass. A good deal of our time at the PD is taken up with internal thefts involving business and retail stores. The thing is, it costs tons of money in loss, and police can't really devote time to investigate it thoroughly. Most businesses don't have the resources to hire a private investigator or security consultant to do long term surveillance and interviews.
Grant, I notice she's not living there now, is she? She must be one of the good ones.
Bubsy,
Where did you find a picture of my dad?
Kim, we used to drink together at the Legion Hall. I swiped it from him when he went to the head.
Midgets and a cod piece and things were just ok?
You, sir, have much higher standards than I.
I hope you managed to get some phone numbers for me.
I need the phone number for the little fella's dentist.
Dale, I heard he likes to grab people by the ass. Be careful. I'd steer clear of his barber as well.
Barbara, I met a couple guys this week who'd be happy to spend time with you, as long as you'll kick in a few extra dollars to help em meet their child support payments.
Coolcat, I admit I've become jaded. I'll try and be more open and accepting in the future.
