If'n you didn't know it, the Trashmen are headlining at this year's Chicago Exotica fest (playing at FitzGerald's on July 7th).

I'm thinking this might be up your alley. And hey, the Sand Bar in Brookfield is a participating bar this year.

Long Live The Tiki!

I hope that you whipped it good.

Grant, I devolved so far I nearly grew my tail back.

Splotchy, I just read yesterday about the Chicago Exotica coming back this year. I'm looking forward to it. I know in the past they've had some good bands, but also a lot of novelty stuff that I just don't find interesting. It's sad now that Trader Vic's is gone.

I find it funny that you posted about Trader Vic's and a werewolf in the same day, because it so happens that I saw a Werewolf of London drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. And his hair was perfect.

That's one of my favorite Clash songs, from my favorite Clash album.

That Clash CD is in my player in my car right now. Bubs, you would have loved The Head Cat. You, too, Johnny. Sorry you guys weren't there.

Ten, my daughter was just asking me about that. Her bass teacher was telling her about it. I guess Lemmy has done a lot of stuff for Troma films, which is where she knows him from.

Frankly Mr. Shankly, I'm glad you're back in one piece and sans tail.

Dale it's good to be back. I'm beginning to recover from the two overnighters and the one 16 hour day. I don't bounce back like I used to.

Barbara, thank you!
