The wife and I danced to this at our wedding. It may have been this version. The playlist isn't really what stands out in my mind about that day.

I <3 Shane MacGowan.
Seriously.
But not in a physical type way. :-S

Did you see the video interview where he was drunk off his arse?
Oh, wait! They're all like that...

Jin, what? You're not turned on by toothless, mumbling guys who drool on themselves?

We rented a documentary about Shane MacGowan a year or two ago, it was amazing. I didn't realize how bad he'd gotten.

Doc, it's a beautiful song isn't it? What a good choice for a wedding dance!

Holy crap, I just got drunk from looking at Shane McGowman.

I agree with Dr. MVM, you shouldn't watch Shane before operating a motor vehicle.

I actually chanced upon an MP3 of this duet a while back, but didn't realize it was also available visually!

Those are some sweet silver curtains behind them!

Now, I haveta post a Pogues video, where MacGowan's teeth are marginally better. Man, that guy can sing.

Nick and Shane singing together. It is indeed a wonderful world.

I swear I could smell the fumes coming off of Shane.

He really should just knock that last tooth out and be done with it.

Barbara, I think he's done that since this video was shot.

Ten, yes it is. I've had this song stuck in my head for days.

Splotchy, yes--I saw the video you put up but blogger wouldn't let me comment on it. Great choice!

Vikki, Dr MVM, you're right--it's a powerful contact drunk, isn't it? But it's a rollicking, sentimental contact drunk.

Dear god do I ever love those men! Particularly Nick Cave, but that might be because my boyfriend looks EXACTLY like Nick Cave when he was like 20. Well, thank you Dad for posting such a great video, it made my night!
