The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.
Well, no. It's a Beluga whale, they are kind of dolphin-looking. When Japanese fisherman aren't busy slaughtering them on the high seas they evidently like dressing them in amusing Christmas-themed hats.

I love those whales. When I took the girl to a zoo in Canada, she had four Beluga's surrounding her. How cute.
