More from the UCM Museum

I realized I forgot a few pictures, so here they are:

Darrel the Dogigator

The House of Shards

Entrance to the Amazing 32 Foot Alligator display!

The UFO crash site--the scene of an astounding event where a flying saucer crashed into a trailer

And a rarely-seen look at the interior of the alien homestead, once they settled in

Fran, if you do that, do a google image search and you'll come up with better pictures of him than the one I took I think

All these photos are great, thanks for sharing. I have to get my boyfriend an original PBR sign for his birthday.

I absolutely love this, and all your photos, Bubs. It all just makes me giggle. THANK you for sharing! Dogigator ... named Darrel ... oh ... my. And people leave COINS! House of Shards ... the creativity is just truly whacky and wonderful.

I can imagine how hard it must've been to leave this place. So did you see the live alligator?

Nice to know that they have "The Hills Have Eyes" vibe down in the Crescent State (shudder).

I love that lil dogigator.

Darrel is something, isn't he Dr MVM?

WP, I'm assuming you refer to the interior of the alien trailer. In person, it's not creepy at all. It's fun. Really.

DGuzman, the "32 foot alligator" is about as real as Darrel the Dogigator--it's a wonderfully obviously hokey fake, a plastic/paper mache alligator with 32 feet attached to it. The only thing "alive" is the viewer.

Barbara, it was tough. thanks for the tag!

Wren, thanks. THis place is truly wonderful to visit. I wish I'd done a better job capturing the house of shards, the way the light hits it and all...

Coolcat, that's what I like about the south.

GKL, cool. They had about 5 of them scattered throughout this place.

Skylersdad, that's a highlight.
