The compound is under construction. Gathering enough plywood, galvanized tin and used trailers takes time, not to mention stockpiling all the shotgun ammo, canned goods and bourbon.
I was there at the Waldorf in NYC that night just before he and Obama arrived for their giggle fest. Couldn't understand why everyone was appearing in black tie and gowns.
I ended up on Fox News that night, but only as a prop.

I was at O'Hare for a sixty minute layover today and was gonna say "hi," but I figured by the time you got down there and The Kid and I got back through security...
