Law Enforcement Quote of the Week

"To my knowledge, it's uncommon for naked women to show up at the Cougar Store. If they did, we'd get more calls."

-Cowlitz County Sheriff's Captain Mark Nelson, referring to an incident where a naked woman wandered out of the woods and into a store in Cougar, Washington.

Heh heh. We've never had a naked woman wander into the library.

But that's only according to his knowledge, right? I mean, it could be happening all the time.

Was the woman in fact a cougar?

She seems to have picked the right town anyway, given her age.

Barbara, really.

Dr MVM, Grant Miller, the report didn't say whether she hit on the young guy working the counter.

Cormac, sorry about that.

Skylersdad, you think they'd call the cops on this one naked lady, but not all the other naked ladies? Naw, I bet this was a one-time shot. It's Cougar, Washington, not Key West.

Randal, well then--you need to work on that.

Grant Miller beat me to the punch with that question.

Obviously, she had just transformed out of her werewolf shape.

Coyote-Ugly Store, maybe. But not the Cougar Store.

"It's uncommon, but it does happen."

I was going to claim my jealousy of her obvious prowess, but then I read the article, and felt sorry for her.

I just hope there was a kind young policemen to help her with her nakedness when they took her, uh, downtown.

Hey, so she went to Cougar naked. Isn't it how that's done?
