Florida, where nature hates us most of all

Thank God for the can-do spirit of the American fighting man. When faced with attack by a rabid wildcat, we'd all do well to follow the example of 62 year old Dale Rippy, Floridian and Vietnam veteran.

When Mr. Rippy was attacked while relaxing on his back porch, he fought back, and he won:

Dale Rippy endured the bobcat's slashes and bites until it clawed into a position where he could grab it by the throat. Then he strangled it.

Give that croc a hand!

Cops 1, Killer Weasel 0

A killer weasel attacked a Glenville, NY woman as she took out the garbage. The woman, thinking fast, beat the weasel off with a fire extinguisher after it sank its inch-long fangs into her foot.

Two intrepid cops responded to the scene as the weasel fled, resulting in a half-mile long chase through the snow. The weasel was shot and killed when he refused to show his hands.

Attack of the moose head

I imagine this as something like the scene from Evil Dead II when all the mounted animal heads mock the hero. Only in this case, the moose head decided to forgo the mocking, and just jumped off the wall, braining our victim:

It wouldn't let go!
