Attack of the moose head

I imagine this as something like the scene from Evil Dead II when all the mounted animal heads mock the hero. Only in this case, the moose head decided to forgo the mocking, and just jumped off the wall, braining our victim:

Woman sues PSU over loose moose head.

"loose moose head": I think I saw that move once in a porn movie.

p.s. I love any man who references the Evil dead trilogy.

What's the difference between Moosehead in Canada and Moosehead in Minnesota? In Canada it's $6.99 a sixpack and in Minnesota it's a felony.

A few years back, I was seriously searching pawnshops and garage sales for one of those deer heads for my apartment. I was surprised to find out how expensive they were. It's a good thing I didn't get one-- that would have been the first thing to go when my wife moved in.

Okay, I'm the only one I know who's never seen any of the Evil Dead movies. I need to rememdy that. On to Netflix...

LOL That is SUCH a classic scene!

Creepy, yeah it's a favorite around here too.

Johnny, I was looking at some stuffed animals at a place down in Bloomington, IN, and was surprised how much they cost. Glad you didn't make a bad animal head investment. You really need to treat yourself to the full Evil Dead trilogy some night.

Beth, I thought about that right after I posted it. Great minds and all...

Netflix is sending the first one as we speak.

I was thinking to watch it with my son-- how gory is it? Too much for a 12 year old?

Nah, he'll be fine. The first one is really somewhat subdued compared to II. II is essentially a remake of Evil Dead, but better in my opinion.

I think my girls saw it at a younger age than that, and other than a few nightmares they were fine.

One of my seniors last year wrote her college application esay on Evil Dead and how it and Evil Dead II were the best movies ever.

She was an average student and felt like she had nothing to talk about in her essay. We talked about her favorite childhood memories and most of them involved watching horror movies with her dad, so she decided to write about that. The essay rocked and she's at Columbia College right now getting a degree in film making.

Thanks for the input Bubs and Lu. I'll watch it with him this weekend.

When I brought the mail in a few minutes ago, my stepdaughter saw that there was a Netflix and asked what it was. I told her "The Evil Dead" and she expressed in it. I think I'll wait a couple of years with her-- Star Wars freaked her out.

That was supposed to be "expressed interest in it." Should have waited until after my nap to post.
