Pork

This is one of the shoulders about to be pulled.

30 pounds of pork shoulder cooked down to 14 pounds of pulled pork. It cooked almost 10 hours at 225 degrees. I think it's pretty good.

Now it's time for bed.

Pulled pork is so much better than pushed pork.

I love pulled pork more than life itself!

Seeing as I'm coming from Wisconsin and all... will I be expected to sit in your basement and cover myself with the pulled pork?

Oh man Bubs, that is cruel & unusual punishment making us look at that without scratch-n-sniff on the computer.

Don't go to bed with meat on your mind.

forgive my naivete, what is pulled pork? spill. I'm thinking of it in literal terms.

JG, it refers to a pork shoulder or butt that's cooked long at a low temperature until the pork can be pulled apart with a couple of forks. Think hillbilly version of Cuban ropa vieja.

Dr MVM, what do you recommend?

CP, I'm sorry--did I miss the scratch and sniff for those scallops a few days ago over at your place?

Jin, just keep bringing me baked goods and you can do anything you want in our basement.

Barbara, that is a strong statement and I approve whole heartedly.

Some Guy...eww. Ewwww.

Skylersdad, well then, it worked!

Fran, any time your in town...

WP, I'll have to wrap some in foil and send it west for you and Katie Schwartz.
